Wild & Marr hosted a very successful ENCO Audio Automation Workshop earlier in November 2014. The workshop was presented by Gene Novacek, president and owner of ENCO Systems, in the US.
Novacek has over 30 years of experience designing automation systems for various industries which include the ENCO DAD system that he designed and conceptualised in the early 1990’s. He is still actively involved on the research and development side of ENCO Systems, offering tailor made solutions for their impressive list of customers.
“Our week spent with Gene was very fruitful and he has injected us with a lot enthusiasm for ENCO,’ says Wild & Marr systems engineer and broadcast specialist Gustav Teitge. “ENCO is extremely versatile and Gene highlighted many features and application concepts that make the system really powerful – this will aid us in marketing and selling the product better.’
The workshop commenced with an overview of what ENCO DAD consists of before illustrating how it can integrate within various aspects of not only the broadcast industry, but storecasting as well as audio and video playout for stadiums, theatres and other venues that require seamless integration for playout.
“This is the first ENCO workshop we have hosted since we were nominated as a distributor earlier this year,’ says Andrew Sorrill, sales and marketing manager at Wild & Marr. “We were looking for broadcast automation software to complement our portfolio of products directed at this market and have been quite impressed with how powerful and versatile ENCO is. They also have an exciting list of partners and networks such as CNN, NBC and FOX that utilise their audio automation systems.’
ENCO Systems is the manufacturer of DAD, DADtv and enCaption. ENCO provides class radio automation, audio for video, and automated captioning solutions to the broadcast and AV industry.
