Join South African lighting designer, Michael Taylor-Broderick, as he presents a two-
day theatre lighting workshop at DWR Distribution in Cape Town, Durban and
Johannesburg during October.
Working as a lighting designer for over fifteen years, Michael is a well-respected in the
industry and is excited to mentor up-and-coming lighting designers, technicians and
anyone else who has a passion for theatre.
The course will cover a range of topics from the objectives of stage lighting to the
elements of design. Working on a vast range of theatrical productions, Michael has a
wealth of information to share.
The training will kick off at DWR Cape Town on the 17 and 18 October from 9 am to 5
pm. The next stop will be at DWR Durban, where the course will be held on 23 and 24
October. Last but not least, those living in Johannesburg are invited to attend the
training on 26 and 27 October.
The cost is R1 700 and this covers lunch and refreshments.
