Claypaky’s booth at Prolight+Sound was the trade fair’s true centre of attraction.
“CLAYPAKY’S IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE” theatre was a large room with 270 degree
cine projection, which hosted a multimedia show that mixed light, sound, video,
stage design and atmospheric effects. It was of course all designed to present the
new products Claypaky had brought to this important international event in an
artistic, and not just technical, way.

During the first evening of the trade fair, Claypaky hosted an open party with
appetizers, free drinks and music at its booth. It was a pleasant convivial break,
where there were many Claypaky distributors, partners and friends.

This trade fair once again demonstrated the synergy between Claypaky and Osram,
as Claypaky CEO Pio Nahum pointed out: “Our parent company is paying increasing
attention to the field of entertainment. It supports our projects with persistence and
enthusiasm and offers us its best technologies.’

On Tuesday, the first day of the fair, a joint Osram-Claypaky-ADB press conference
was held in the afternoon in front of over forty journalists and the industry press.
The three company CEOs, Hans-Joachim Schwabe, Nahum and Simone Capeleto
respectively, spoke about and illustrated their corporate policies and new products.

New Claypaky products:

• The Axcor Profile 900 is the first Claypaky spotlight to use a LED light source,
instead of a traditional discharge lamp. Claypaky has chosen to use a white LED
engine with high luminous efficiency, total power of 900 watts and luminous flux of
24,000 lumen output, and couple it with a system of dichroic filters to create the
colours.

• The K-EYE HCR is a LED wash light which provides total control over the
quality of all forms of white or coloured light. The heart of the K-EYE HCR wash
light is a LED light source consisting of a module with six chips, each for a different
colour. This exclusive Claypaky device provides a very wide colour range with
excellent colour spectrum coverage.

• The Scenius Unico is a multifunctional luminaire: a magnificent spot and
profile light for projecting effects and framed beam shapes, an excellent wash light,
and a beam moving light, featuring a powerful, narrow, super concentrated beam.

The new ADB corporate image was officially presented at Prolight+Sound, along
with other marketing projects aimed at reviving the historic French brand
internationally. Of course the most significant news was the debut of an
extraordinary new ADB light. The KLEMANTIS is a new asymmetric linear cyclight
based on the most advanced LED technology, featuring the innovative and exclusive
six-colour LED module HCR technology and its unique control algorithm.

The NEW IMAGO is a compact lightweight high-tech USB backlit control surface,
which becomes a fully-fledged console when connected via USB to a PC running
HATHOR lighting software. The IMAGO WING completes the IMAGO family by
offering additional control options when used with the IMAGO.

Claypaky also held its Distributor Meeting at the Frankfurt trade fair. Nahum and
Head of Sales Alberico D’Amato presented the plans and new instruments for the
current year to more than one hundred distributors and agents. The meeting
concluded with the presentation of the “Claypaky Ambassador of the Light’ awards.
