Martin by HARMAN will be presenting a range of innovative technologies on its stand in hall 12.0 (booth C68) at Prolight +Sound 2019, including the new Martin ERA 300 Profile, the MAC Allure Profile and the ELP LED Ellipsoid, all of which were recently toured across the country by the local distributor, Electrosonic.
ERA 300 Profile

The Martin ERA 300 is an ultra-compact profile fixture with an extremely efficient 260W white LED engine that produces a sharp gobo projection with the flat field that Martin fixtures are known for. Designed to set the new standard compact and affordable lighting for the rental and live production market, this modern, everyday workhorse fits nearly-anywhere, is easy to handle and rig, and takes up less truck space. Plus, Martin ERA 300 boasts a full suite of professional features not commonly found in other fixtures in its class, including CMY colour mixing, 1:2 zoom, 9,500 lumens of output, electronic dimming and strobe, colour wheel, two layers of gobos, iris, rotating prism and pan/tilt.
The ERA 300 Profile’s light source delivers more output than typically associated with similar-sized and featured fixtures. Fully electronic dimming ensures extremely fast strobing, instant intensity control, and a flat, consistent field that can be maintained down to zero percent. Onboard CMY colour mixing offers wide-ranging versatility from subtle pastels to deep, vibrant, colours, as well as fast transitions and smooth fades. And, with 13 to 28 degrees of zoom, the ERA 300 Profile is perfect for various trim heights and is wide enough to ensure great coverage on smaller stages.
MAC Allure Profile

Martin will also feature its freshly innovative Martin MAC Allure Profile LED Moving Head. MAC Allure products were designed to support the unique performance lighting needs of rental and install clients, including concert/touring, TV shows, corporate, houses of worship, concert venues, nightclubs, and cruise ships. Also at LDI, HARMAN re-introduced the ultra-creative potential and ease of use offered by its Martin P3 Visual Control Solution, which is integrated into the MAC Allure Profile and soon other Martin fixtures.
TheMartin MAC Allure Profile is the first fully-featured moving head to combine a proprietary, solid state RGBW additive colour mixing engine, a 7-segment pixelated beam and onboard P3 and DMX controllability that lets users swiftly alternate or a mix between control protocols. The overall feature set further includes dimmer, strobe, colour mixing, gobos, iris, prism, zoom, focus, pan and tilt.
ELP LED Ellipsoid Fixtures

Martin ELP fixtures are available in two versions: ELP WW (Warm White) offers industry-leading colour rendering and brightness, while ELP CL (Color) delivers rich, saturated colours and class-leading output. ELP fixtures feature industry-first advances in lighting functionality, including the highly efficient gear-based Fine Focus adjustment knob, and the Fast Focus feature which allows the fixture to be focused without data flow. ELP also offers 16-bit dimming with four selectable curves and 26 colours presets that match industry-standard colour filters. ELP fixtures can be configured with Martin lens tubes in 19, 26, 36 and 50-degree beam angles as well as third-party lens tubes. ELP fixtures can also be configured with a wide range of accessories, including gel frames and gobos, offering exceptional flexibility in lighting design and inventory management.
Featuring optic assemblies designed in Denmark by the team behind MAC Encore, ELP is designed to maximise efficiency and deliver a flat field of illumination for smoother blending and mixing between fixtures. The ELP WW delivers 7,000 lumens of output and an industry-leading 97 CRI at 3000K colour temperature, for the truest colour representation on any surface. The ELP CL fixture offers an impressive 6,900 lumens and a CRI of 85 in High Output mode, and 5,900 lumens and 90 CRI in High Quality mode, with a colour temperature of 6,000K (open white). Both models offer flicker-free operation for consistent light output—on and off camera.
ELP combines legendary Martin quality with a suite of next-generation features to deliver new levels of performance, functionality and ease-of-use. Innovative gear-driven Fine Focus adjustment allows for precise, nuanced control, and enables users to lock focus exactly where they want it, instantly. The innovative Fast Focus feature brings the fixture to full output for 60 seconds simply by holding the Enter button for five seconds, enabling users to focus the fixture during set up without data. Halation Color correction removes atypical blue and brown halos when using Martin lens tubes. ELP fixtures also offer 16-bit dimming with four selectable curves. Additionally, tilt knobs are placed out of the way of framing shutters, to allow quick, easy position adjustments.
