Prosound recently installed ETC Lighting Solutions in Johannesburg, Durban and
Cape Town making
ETC’s LED fixtures a popular choice for theatres and TV studios.
The new ETC Source 4 LUSTR Series 2 LED profiles were on demo at The Fugard
Theatre in Cape Town, and shortly
after the demo, the theatre purchased six fixtures for their upcoming
productions.
Also in Cape Town, the ETV Studios are using 12 x Source HD Studio LED Profiles
for the UEFA and Weather Studios.
All fixtures are being controlled from an ETC Element Console via the new ETC
SmartRelay Wall Packs.
In Johannesburg ETV purchased 38 x Source 4 HD Studio LED Profiles. The ETC
and other brands of fixtures are
being controlled by an ETC ION Console with Fader Wing via SmartPack Relay
units. The Prosound technical team
were given 48 hours to complete the installation. Working throughout the night
they successfully completed
the installation in time for the live e-Nuus broadcast on channel 144 on DSTV.
The current production at the Auto and General Theatre on the Square has five
Source 4 LUSTR with CYC attachments
on demo, which are being controlled by a GIO Console. These fixtures are being
used on the I Have Life – Alison
20 years on production.
Prosound are in the process of supplying 48 x Source 4 LUSTR Series 2 Profiles
to the Playhouse Theatre in Durban
and over 90 x Source 4 LUSTR Series 2 with CYC attachments to various TV
studios.
ETC Source 4 HD Studio LED profile and the new Source 4 Series 2 profiles
feature the newest technology in
High Output LEDs. These fixtures are ideal for TV studios and theatres. With the
carefully selected 7-Colour
System normal spectral gaps associated with LED lighting are eliminated.
By the end of September this year, more than 180 x ETC Source 4 LED Profile
fixtures will have been delivered,
Making it a popular LED product of choice by theatre and TV lighting designers.
