Stage Lighting Master Class (SLMC) returns to Johannesburg and Cape Town again this year after a long break with promise to be bigger and better than before, with new technology presentations and international guest speakers.
SLMC is a two-day master class covering the art and craft of stage lighting design and is the only one of its kind in South Africa. Prosound is proud to be one of the sponsors providing ETC lighting equipment for this not-to-be-missed event.
Amongst the ETC equipment provided by Prosound for the master class will be an ETC GIO console with external monitors and fixtures from ETC Source 4 LED, Source 4 LED Tungsten, Source4 LED Lustr+, Source4 LED Daylight, ETC Desire D40, ETC Selador Classics including an ETC Fresnel. Prosound’s Lighting Manager, Chenn de Wet, who has recently returned from an intensive ten day training tour with ETC in London and Wisconsin, USA will be at this year’s master class to answer any questions about his experiences on the tour and to share is expertise on the ETC product.

Joining renowned South African lighting designer Declan Randall this year are Mannie Manim (SA) and Richard Pilbrow (UK), both world-respected lighting designers and theatre consultants. SLMC will feature the latest in lighting design technology and there is a focus on LED lighting and energy efficient lighting design techniques. We will be showcasing some of the latest technology and design techniques and you will have the opportunity to meet and talk to the designers as well as the product distributors and sponsors of the event.
